Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

19th & 20th August 2017 - Mumbai, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

Summary and Objectives

The overarching objective of this course is to develop a comprehensive set of skills that will allow you to function effectively as a Six Sigma Green Belt. The Green Belt Body of knowledge includes techniques for both quantitative and non-quantitative analysis, as well as the team leadership skills necessary to get projects across the goal line. This course will provide you general knowledge of the theory, composition, and implementation of a Six Sigma initiative. You will also become proficient in the entire analytical tool necessary to define, measure analyze, improve, and control Six Sigma improvement projects. You will learn team leadership and project management skills. In Short, you will master the skills necessary to lead a complex process improvement project that produces bottom line results. If you have enrolled in a certification version of this course, then upon completion of this course of study,  a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate will be awarded

Prof. V K Garg

M. Tech (IIT Delhi), PMP, Master Black Belt

Prof. V K Garg, PMP® is a gold medallist bachelor of engineering and M. Tech from IIT Delhi. He is a certified project management professional PMP®. He carries 35 years of rich experience in the field of Information Technology and has been on board of various companies for more than 10 years. He has worked in varying capacities with organizations like A F Ferguson, Larsen & Turbo, Zenith Computers, NITIE, Lupine laboratories, Rolta and other software companies. He has commendable practical experience in the areas of Project management, bidding, software estimation and risk assessment, as a Technical Advisor with a leading Management Consulting firm, he has strategized the estimation and risk management processes for their software projects. He as project manager has managed over fifty projects varying from few person months to hundred person years, many of which has been sponsored and funded by the World Bank. He is an acknowledged expert in the various areas of project Management and authored bestselling books on various subject including ERP and strategic bidding for IT projects. He has been associated as Expert with various World Bank sponsored projects. Prof. Garg is a corporate trainer and also a consultant associated with many leading IT companies and professional institutes. Past ten years he has conducted over hundred corporate training programs for senior and middle management executives. He, in the past have specially developed two highly value added programs namely Project Identification Formulation and Appraisal (PIFA) AND Project Implementation Monitoring and Control (PIME) with the help of World Bank. A large number of Senior and Middle level Engineers from PWD and Electricity Board’s of  various state governments were trained with the help of these two training programs.
